2011: Multiple bodies were discovered on Gilgo Beach in Long Island. It was soon discovered that it was the work of one or multiple serial killers.
Soon after, it was revealed that the bodies belonged to several sex workers who advertised their services on Craigslist, leading to the theory that the killer was specifically targeting them through the website.
The NYI issued an open letter both on Craigslist and to multiple media outlets, offering free training to the sex workers specifically, as well as open lines of encrypted communication to help create a safety system for them.
The details of the successes of this mission must be kept private due to the sensitive nature of the work.
